Hello,

I was brought up in a Methodist family in Ulverston, Cumbria. When I was 11 years old I made a commitment to follow Jesus. I still remember the feeling of joy and excitement as I went home that evening feeling God’s love and care for me personally for the first time. My desire is to help other people come to experience God’s love for themselves. I have been a minister since 2003 and my previous appointment was in the Leigh and Hindley circuit, working with three churches in the borough of Wigan.

I am married to Richard who works for Hewlett Packard, the computer company, on software solutions. We have two grown up children Ruth and David, and a noisy, but generally well-behaved dog, Holly.

I enjoy walks with the dog, detective novels, pizza and chocolate. Richard and I like to go sailing. On a recent sailing holiday I learned how to snorkel, which I absolutely loved.

Following Jesus can be exciting, scary or just plain hard work at times, but it is always an adventure and I look forward to sharing that adventure with you.
