WHAT WE HAVE PROVIDED

Within the present church building we have provided:-

Main worship area with the pews replaced by seats that are moveable to provide for more varied types of worship

Large lobby area to provide more space for informal meetings and greetings and to let visitors know that they are welcome

Suite of small rooms on two floors at the vestry end for Sunday School, prayer meetings etc.

Large meeting or recreational room above the lobby.
Meeting room and kitchen at the lower ground floor beneath the lobby area.

Better access for the infirm and less able with a lift serving all three floors at the lobby end together with improved stairways.

New toilet facilities mainly at lower ground floor level where disabled facilities will be provided but also to a limited extent at other floors.

Improvement to the surrounding paved areas and to the access ramp together with cleaning of the external stone work

These works were substantially complete by 15th. August 2005 and the first service was held in the refurbished church on Sunday 21st. August. The total cost of the scheme was some £ 750,000
